Understanding and managing nitrogen nutrition in grapevine: a review

چکیده

This review addresses the role of nitrogen (N) in vine balance and grape composition. It offers an integrative approach to managing grapevine N nutrition. Keeping mind that excess is just as detrimental wine quality depletion, control status, ultimately must composition, critical for high-quality production. fertilisation has been intensively used past century, despite plants absorbing only 30 40 % applied N. By adapting plant material, soil management environmental conditions, it would be possible growers improve use efficiency minimise input vineyard. Vineyard a complex exercise involving search between controlling vigour, optimising regulating production costs limiting pollution. The first part this describes metabolism from root uptake development ripening, including formation aroma compounds. advantages limits methods available measuring status are addressed. second focuses on parameters influence metabolism, distinguishing impacts factors those vineyard practices. Areas further research also identified.
